My Neighborhood RR
My Neighborhood RR should be arriving soon, and I’ve finally found my pictures of it, so I figured I ought to post about it ![]()

Here’s part of the letter I wrote to my fellow stitchers….
“Since my last name is Winter, I’ve decided to have a Winter Wonderland neighborhood. I’ve started it out with a Drawn Thread freebie (which I still have to finish stitching around when I get it back, but that’s another story). Each square is 60×60 stitches. As for what I’d like… as long as it’s winter-y, that’s fine with me! Feel free to stitch just a block full of trees or snowflakes, or a family of snowmen, or a skating pond, or a yeti, or monkeys throwing snowballs…. whatever floats your boat
Please feel free to sign your block in whatever way you want, also.”
I can’t wait to see what everyone else stitches, and I can’t wait to get started on Toni’s!

I love the theme you’ve picked for your RR. Just picturing some of the squares with fun themes like monkeys throwing snowballs and such is enough to make you smile. I’ll bet it will be lovely and fun when done.

Winter wonderland will be wistful and welcomed!! Your house is so richly red, Lauren, I know everyone’s going to have fun working your Neighborhood RR.
