SBQs!
Ooops, I missed last week’s SBQ!
So here is SBQ: Exchange Choices:
How do you choose a project for an exchange? Do you pick solely on what you know of the taste of the recipient or are there other reasons you pick the piece you do?
Usually I try to pick something that the recipient and I both like - that way, stitching is much more fun! Sometimes it’s hard - for instance, with the LJ group xstitchexchange, some of the stitcher’s journals are friends-locked, so it’s very hard to get an idea of what they like. I have a very hard time picking what to stitch, and for the past needleroll exchange I’ve started (abandoned) two ideas already. Hopefully third time’s the charm!
And, SBQ: Last Call:
If you could only stitch one more piece what would it be and why?
I think I’d have to pick a big piece. My choice, at the moment, would be “And They Sinned.” I’ve admired it since it came out, but because it’s just so huge, I haven’t had the courage to start it yet. Though, I feel slightly guilty about choosing that - what about stitching another project for my Gram, or finally stitching “Mighty Samurai” for Glenn? This is an awesome SBQ, as it really makes you think about *why* you stitch. So, from my original answer, I’d have to say I stitch because I like stitching

I’ve been asking myself this question too, and my answer was ATS as well. Well, it’s obvious, isn’t it? It would take years, if not decades, to finish that one!
