Mmm, silk

And here’s the start! Like I said, it’s M Design’s “W”.





It’s Thread Gatherer’s Silk ‘N Threads Lion Fish on 32ct cognac fabric. Oh my goodness, the silk is just so scrummy! I wish I could stitch with it everyday - it feels beautiful, it makes the most wonderful noise when it glides through the fabric, and it just looks amazing. Um, can you tell I like it ? Anyway, I’ve moseyed on up from the center to the top right corner, and I think I’m just gonna work my way down from there. I haven’t made any major mistakes yet *crosses fingers*, so here’s hoping this goes nice and smoothly!

I also started a surprise present for someone tonight - I hope I can finish it in time!
