More info on the blessing

Since Cheryl asked about the pattern, I figured I should also probably post a pic of what it’s supposed to look like.

It’s called a “Birkat Ha Bait” in Hebrew, and according to the chart, the text translates to “may this home be a place of happiness and health.” Since this is his first house, I figured a home blessing would be appropriate… I just hope he likes it! I brought it in to work on during my lunch break today, so I really hope I can get the rest of the text finished.

I didn’t get much else done on it last night. My allergies have been wreaking havoc on my life, so I haven’t been sleeping too well, so I’m exhausted by the time I get home from work. But, thankfully, it rained last night, so I’m hoping things will be better today. Plus, my group at work is officially moving to the brand new office area Friday, so we won’t have to sit in the teeny tiny little room off the lab anymore, with its constant changes in temperature and weird smells. Definitely something to be excited about

Hope everyone else is having a great day!

What a neat looking piece, I’m sure he’ll love it. Glad to hear you are moving to a new office space, strange smells and fluctuating temps are no fun to have to deal with.
