Ornie of the month
I’m - unofficially - participating in the Christmas ornie SAL, and since this is the 4th weekend of the month, here’s what I stitched today!

Prairie Schooler - Two by Two: Deer from JCS ornie mag 1998. Aren’t they adorable? I did this on 22ct “Country” fabric, and it just matches the rustic look of the pattern perfectly. This was so quick - I did this in about 4hrs, between laundry, vacuuming, and washing dishes.
After I scanned it, I noticed I forgot to cross 3 stitches - I went back and fixed it, but didn’t feel like scanning it again

Thanks you so much for your kind and caring comments Lauren - they meant so much to me. I feel so blessed to be a part of this great community.
Your Christmas ornie looks great - wonderful to have an early start as things always seem to get so hectic in the final weeks before Christmas.
I noticed that you recently purchased Frederick the Literate. I’m in a SAL working on him and hope to show an update on my blog sometime this week. If you have not started him please accept this small piece of advice. Purchase a piece of 28 count black to stitch on rather than the provided Aida. I certainly wish I had as there are so many half & quarter stitches. He is adorable though.
I’ll drop by again soon.

Very cute! The fabric was a great choice. I wish I did as well as you with updating my blog. I stitched two ornies over the weekend, but haven’t taken pics yet! grr!
