Time flies..
Oh dear, is it really the 20th? Eek, better pick an ornament, pronto!
I went stash shopping a little yesterday - I picked up another Casey Buonaugurio chart (”The Little Prince,” pic here) and Just Nan’s 12 Days of Christmas ornies. I’d seen them the last time I was in the LNS, but was torn about buying them, because the chart was an amazing $15, and I’d have to figure out a different way of finishing them since I don’t feel like spending $16 per Whimzi frame. Man, I don’t even spend $16 to frame an 8×10 nowadays.
Ah, that reminds me. Since I felt kinda weird about getting a nice shiny present without getting Glenn anything, I decided I had to buy him some kind of engagement gift. He just bought a new watch a few weeks ago, so I ended up on a router and router table - now he can make frames for me, too!
Skeleton Crew is progressing much better since Glenn engineered a giant Q-snap knock-off for me. I’ve finished all the words, and am currently working on another of the sails. I’ll probably take a picture this afternoon.
And, in non-cross stitch related news, I never realized how much stuff goes into planning a wedding. Eek.
