Stash trip
I made a stash run today, mostly because I wanted to drop off some more craft supplies at the craft thrift store. And what should they have there but an absolute treasure trove of New Stitches magazines and - get this! - evenweave and linen. I got a 36 x 40 piece of 28ct evenweave for $3.50! Plus smaller amounts of Irish linen, hardanger, etc. I also found buttons for the biscornu, but the lighting’s been awful today, so I didn’t take a picture. Here’s hoping for a little sun (and less pollen!) tomorrow - and maybe even a trip to the Lilac Festival, if packing permits.
Speaking of, I’ve cleared out a corner of the basement, so I can start piling boxes up down there. That should free up enough space in the living room and bedroom so I can finish packing up those areas. I want this all done by early Friday, so I have less than a week left (eep).
