I’ll cross that stitch when I come to it

I finished Victoria Sampler’s Humour is a Virtue ornament from the JCS 2005 ornie issue. I thought about changing the Canadian spelling to an American one, but decided this had more character This was a fun, quick stitch. I didn’t use most of the suggested fibers - I used DMC conversions instead. I *love* the rose stitches - they’re so pretty and three-dimensional!

Up next? Well, I painted some 22ct fabric today for an Easter project from an old Cross Country Stitching magazine.
