Old SBQ
Taken from a LJ community I belong to, since there’s no new SBQ this week.
On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest, how comfortable do you feel changing a design’s colors or the entire color scheme? Elaborate if you wish.
Maybe a 2 or 3. I don’t do it too often - colors are often what draws me to a pattern. On things like samplers, I feel perfectly fine changing the colors.
Thanks to AngelSan for the question this time around! Is cross-stitch your only crafty hobby or do you have others?
Pretty much. I do a little knitting every once in a while, but I’m very much a beginner at it. I don’t think my bank account could support a second hobby!
What is your favorite fabric to stitch on?
I like Monaco… mostly evenweaves. Linens look beautiful when finished, but stitching on them is such a pain!
Do you participate in Round Robins? If so, how many have you participated in? If not, have you thought about it?
No, not really. I’m a little self-conscious about the quality of my stitching.
